Campaign Planbook

Presented to: ComArtSci Alumni Office 

Our team developed a comprehensive campaign for the Michigan State University College of Communication Arts & Sciences (ComArtSci) Alumni Office. The goal was to increase engagement among young alumni, particularly those under 30, through social media, influencer partnerships, and interactive events.

My Contributions:

SWOT Analysis: Conducted a detailed assessment of the Alumni Office's communication strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to guide campaign direction.

Strategic Planning: Co-developed Objective #1—to increase engagement from alumni under 30—by outlining actionable tactics and measurable KPIs.

Creative Design: Designed all infographic assets for Tactic 1, including Instagram/Facebook stories and feed posts promoting the "Staying Linked" event and featured influencers

Media Planning Project

Client: Nike

For this project, I developed a comprehensive 6-month media plan for Nike’s hypothetical #PushYourLimits campaign, an initiative designed to increase brand awareness, boost sales of eco-friendly products and new sneaker lines, and deepen the connection with Nike's audience.

What I Gained:

This project strengthened my skills in media budgeting, strategic channel planning, and translating business goals into measurable media objectives. It also gave me hands-on experience in evaluating DSPs and creating performance-focused calendars for global brands.

Integrated Campaign

Client: Ally Bank

As part of a collaborative team campaign for Ally Bank, I contributed to both the strategic and creative elements of our pitch. The “Do It Right” campaign positions Ally as a digital-first, trustworthy financial partner. We targeted the Mass Middles with creative, relatable storytelling and multi-channel engagement, including:

  • Experiential advertising with branded popcorn buckets at sports events

  • Social media sweepstakes and influencer partnerships

  • A thoughtful TV spot and podcast integration

  • Print, OOH, and promotional merchandise

My Contributions:

  • SWOT Analysis: I co-developed and designed the SWOT analysis, evaluating Ally’s market position, opportunities for growth, and threats from competitors. This analysis informed the direction of our creative strategy.

  • Brochure Design: I created a professionally branded brochure highlighting key campaign concepts and visuals. This piece served as a handout summarizing campaign objectives, media strategies, and our creative direction.
